By gathering locally-sourced products from all over North Carolina, I'm proud to be playing a role in promoting and preserving the unique charm and culture of our area. Every item I curate tells a story - a story of hard work, passion, and a true love for where we live. It brings me immense joy to share these products with the consumers who appreciate the best of what North Carolina has to offer. Whether it's a jar of homemade jam or a one-of-a-kind piece of art, every purchase helps support local entrepreneurs and keep our communities thriving. Together, we can make a difference and showcase the very best of North Carolina to the world.
Cheryl relocated to North Carolina from upstate New York in 2017. After traveling all over the state and visiting and exploring all 41 state parks, she was able to experience many amazing locally made products. Cheryl wanted to bring them all together in one place to share with others. Hence she created, Gather NC Mercantile and Gifts to make it easier for the consumer to shop local and support small businesses.

Shredder Sauce LLC is owned and operated by Alex Johnson, an NCSU student currently battling Crohn's. The business's name came from his passion for playing guitar. Alex first started working on Shredder Sauce when he was 15. At 20, he had his first official batch of Six String Sting. Shredder Sauce is a quality hot sauce that provides plenty of heat without compromising flavor.
Staat's Bakery
Veteran owned Staat’s Bakery in New Bern has been making granola people actually like to eat since 2014. Using a family recipe, this gourmet granola is created with caramel made from scratch and comes in five flavors with no additives, preservatives, or dyes.

We strive to support the community and our partners by producing products that unite people over common interests and values. All of our products are handcrafted in our Asheville, North Carolina facility using natural leather. We employ adults on the autism spectrum and work closely with the Autism Society of North Carolina to ensure we provide a positive work environment and ethically manufactured products.
